There really are millions of things-to-do in Midwood!
Per usual there are so many events going on in Midwood this weekend. Even more than usual…following our Queen City’s hosting of the DNC. From music to Comedy, Midwood’s got it going on! There are tons and tons of Midwood music happenings this weekend, so here are just a few of them:
If you like Pop/Rock, be sure to check out Blossoms, Teepee and Serfs at Snug Harbor in Plaza Midwood on Saturday! And then on Sunday, DexRomweber Duo and The Dirt Daubers will debut at Snug Harbor and if that’s not enough to have you groovin’ all weekend… take a look at some of these other Charlotte goings-on:
In celebration of the just hosted QC Democratic National Convention, The Light Factory will premiere a powerful exhibition of high school student photography called “We are Charlotte.”Thisexhibition has run from from Aug. 20 up until Oct. 14 in The Light Factory’s Middleton McMillan Gallery. “We are Charlotte” features a unique perspective on community identity and politics from a teen perspective. The exhibition and opening reception set for Sept. 27 are ***free and open*** to the public.
Want to trim down, get out, exercise and do a little charity work all in one?! Look into the Big Red Shoe 5k & Fest! Sounds so fun, I can’t stand it!
